TIDE 2.0 – MVP Grant

Overview

The TIDE 2.0 MVP Grant, funded by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology), supports innovators and startups with a validated proof of concept (PoC) to convert their ideas into functional Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
Funding of up to ₹7 lakh per startup is provided to drive MVP development.

Eligibility

  • Indian citizens with valid government ID (e.g., Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID).
  • Startups and innovators with ICT-enabled solutions (proof of concept required).
  • Projects should ideally align with the above theme areas.

Offerings

  • Grant of up to ₹7 lakh for MVP development.
  • Access to IIT Kanpur’s infrastructure (laboratories, facilities).
  • Incubation support through SIIC (Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre).
  • Mentorship from leading industry experts.

  • Shortlisting by internal review.
  • Evaluation of shortlisted startups.
